Strong indications have emerged that Governors of Rivers, Plateau, Niger, Katsina and Jigawa States may refuse to hand over to the incoming Governors on May 29 - Friday.
These indications emerged following the departure of some of these sitting Governors for foreign countries and the open declaration of some not to attend their successors' Inauguration.
While Governor Amaechi of Rivers State has stated clearly that he will rather be in Abuja for Buhari's inauguration, the likes of Sule Lamido of Jigawa have left the shores of the country.
