CARDIFF IN BID FOR OSAZE

Odemwingie is set to leave the Baggies after falling out of favour following his well-publicised
attempt to try and secure a move to QPR in January. Several Premier League clubs expressed
an interest in the Nigerian with Crystal Palace and Hull both mentioned earlier in the summer.
Fulham were then linked with a move for Odemwingie while Dubai club Al Nasr had an
£850,000 bid rejected, However, Cardiff look set to step up their interest as their boss Malky
Mackay looks for a proven top-flight striker to aid his side in their bid to stay up this season.
Mackay has already secured the signings of Andreas Cornelius and Steven Caulker, spending
almost £20million, but he is keen to make further additions.
