Dani Alves has warned Neymar that Lionel Messi remains Barcelona's undisputed star despite the
arrival of the €57 million signing from Santos this summer.
Much has been said and written about since the 21-year-old's switch from Santos, the club he
broke through at to become the darling of Brazilian football, with club icon Johan Cruyff as one
of the most vocal critics of the transfer.
However, Alves has insisted that the hierarchy at the Blaugrana is clear, even from the days of
Ronaldinho strutting his stuff in Catalunya, so the signing of this forward will not change
anything.
"People are getting all worked up over the relationship between Messi and Neymar, but they're
two great guys, so who's to say they are going to have any problems ..." Alves told RAC1.
"Messi has earned all the recognition and respect he gets and has become a role model with his
work ethic. The kid has four Ballons d'Or.
"Before it was Ronaldinho who dictated the way Barca played, now it's Messi. You can't come to
Barca and expect to be top dog - there is always already a star here."
Messi has scored well over 200 La Liga goals for the Catalans since his first team debut in
2004-05, becoming the club's all-time top goalscorer in official games.

APC'S INVITATION OF JONATHAN: AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF GOOD GOVERNANCE - PRESIDENCY
The invitation by the newly-registered All Progressives Congress (APC) for President Goodluck
Jonathan to join the party was on Wednesday described by the Presidency as an
acknowledgment of his sterling leadership qualities.
According to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the
Presidency viewed the invitation as a compliment. He told State House correspondents in Abuja
that APC Chairman, Chief Bisi Akande's invitation has shown that leaders of the opposition party
recognized the fact that Jonathan is presently the best man for the job.
Ruling out the possibility of President Jonathan joining the new party, he faulted the party
leaders for forming a party only to realise later that they do not have a credible candidate.
He said: "I think it (the APC's invitation) is a compliment. What Chief Akande has said in essence
is that President Jonathan is the best man for the job. "They formed a party only to realise they
don't have a candidate.
We thank him for his acknowledgment of the President's leadership qualities, but he (the
President) is happy where he is.
"We thank Chief Akande for his expression of confidence in President Jonathan's credibility but
the President is happy where he is, as a member and leader of the Peoples Democratic Party to
which he remains loyal, and under the umbrella of which he is leading a transformation agenda
for the betterment of the lives of Nigerians."

The Pop singer has apparently signed a new distribution deal with digital distribution company
Spinlet. According to a tweet from Spinlet, the company will be digitally distributing BrymO's
next album.
The deal was signed some sometime last week, apparently without the knowledge of his current
record label Chocolate City which he says he's parted ways with.
A rep from Spinlet also confirmed the deal. When asked if they had contacted Chocolate City
before the signing, the rep said no but then explained that it was an individual deal.

Headed by long time friend Lanre Lawal, the company will now be handling his managerial affairs
formerly managed by manager Samuel Lolo.
'Yes I'm now working with BrymO. He's been a longtime friend of mine', Lanre Lawal said
over the phone, explaining that they hooked up some months ago. As per how Chocolate City
would react to BrymO's new deal with Spinlet, Lawal said he would rather not comment on that.
Chocolate City says they heard about the distribution deal signing and that they will be looking
into the matter. To what extent we cannot tell. 'We have instructed our lawyers to take
appropriate action', Choc City boss Audu Maikori said, responding to our E-mail.
Brymo on May 28, 2013 announced he had parted ways with Chocolate Citythe label which he
signed with in 2011. Chocolate City insists the Pop singer is till signed to them.
